SK Telecom will provide benefits such as a full refund of the first month's bill and free online video service (OTT) and webtoon perks this month to customers who port their number or newly subscribe without purchasing a device.
On the 4th, SK Telecom said that through the 31st, it will refund the full first month's bill as Naver Pay points to customers who subscribe at T Direct Shop to plans priced at 48,000 won or higher, including "Direct 5G 48," which offers 110GB per month, and "0 Youth Direct 48," which offers 160GB per month.
It will then provide an additional 165,000 won in Naver Pay points over five months at 33,000 won per month. Naver Pay points can be used to pay bills through T World. With this, the 48,000 won monthly plan can be used for as low as 15,000 won.
SK Telecom will also provide a 12-month pass for Tving "ad-supported standard" (5,500 won per month) to those customers. It also decided to give 30 Naver Webtoon "cookies," which can be used to view paid webtoons, for free for 12 months.
Customers who choose the "Direct 5G 34" (34,000 won per month) to "Direct 5G 42" (42,000 won per month) plans will receive 60,000 won in total by getting 20,000 won in Naver Pay points per month for three months. The Tving and Naver Webtoon benefits can also be used for six months. However, these benefits apply only if the initially subscribed plan is maintained for at least six months.
