Bang Jun-hyuk, chair of Netmarble and Coway, presented "RE-BIRTH" as this year's core management keyword. It means rebuilding the group's thinking and execution from the ground up.
On the morning of Jan. 2, at separate kickoff ceremonies for Netmarble and Coway, Bang said, "To gain sustainable competitiveness, we need not only external growth but also internal strengthening," and emphasized, "Let's make 2026 the group's 'first year of qualitative growth.'"
He assessed last year's performance of Netmarble by saying, "We achieved external growth for a renewed takeoff, but there was room for improvement in strengthening fundamentals." He added, "2026 must be a turning point to take a step up through innovation and structural improvements."
In particular, Bang presented strengthening competitiveness across all operations through AI as a key task. He said, "Through AI, we must deepen analysis and speed up decision-making, and raise productivity across the board," adding, "AI is no longer a choice; it is now the standard that determines gaps in competitiveness."
He said, "Based on the passion and drive symbolized by the red horse, what we decide must surely lead to execution and be proven in results," and added, "I hope Netmarble and Coway will be reborn through true innovation this year."
