NCSOFT said on the 2nd that it unveiled the brand website for the PC game "Lineage Classic" and began pre-registration.
"Lineage Classic" is a PC game that recreates the early-2000s version of "Lineage," which has been serviced since 1998. A pre-release free service will begin in Korea and Taiwan starting Feb. 7, 2026, and play will be available for a monthly subscription of 29,700 won starting Feb. 11. Users can pre-download starting Jan. 7.
The game offers the early version content including four classes—lord, knight, elf and wizard—and areas such as Talking Island, Dragon Valley and Giran. While maintaining an interface familiar to existing Lineage users, it also plans to add new content exclusive to "Lineage Classic" based on the core content of the original.
NCSOFT released artwork and videos through the "Lineage Classic" brand website, themed around nostalgic PC rooms. On the 7th, it plans to additionally present screenshots and the OST, and it will sequentially unveil a "Hall of Fame" feature for legendary users.
Pre-registration runs through Feb. 10. Participants can receive a pre-registration weapon selection box, a bone set, a ring of protection, and potions and scrolls needed for early growth.
