Samsung Electronics said on the 2nd that it will unveil the AI portable projector "The Freestyle+" at its "The First Look" event in Las Vegas on the 4th (local time), ahead of the opening of the world's largest IT and home appliance exhibition, "CES 2026."
The Freestyle+ is equipped with a variety of AI screen optimization technologies that allow projection not only on walls and ceilings but also on corners and curtains.
The "3D Auto Keystone" feature provides real-time correction to an optimized, near-rectangular screen even when projecting onto various surfaces, such as three-sided corners or curved curtains, rather than a flat surface.
In addition, "screen calibration" minimizes elements that interfere with viewing by having AI analyze wall patterns when projecting onto walls with colors or patterns.
It also features "real-time focus," which corrects adjustment noise and blurry focus that occur when changing the screen angle in real time, and "screen fit," in which AI automatically adjusts the screen position, size, and angle to match the dedicated screen area.
The Freestyle+ also supports brightness of 430 ISO lumens, about twice that of the previous model, delivering clearer picture quality even under indirect lighting.
Samsung Electronics equipped The Freestyle+ with the integrated AI platform "Vision AI Companion," which is supported on Samsung TVs and monitors. Users can access the industry's largest number of AI agents, including Bixby, Copilot, and Perplexity, and can get answers on a range of topics, such as movie recommendations and sports scores.
