Samsung Electronics said on the 2nd that ahead of the opening of the world's largest IT and home appliance show, "CES 2026," it will hold a "The First Look" event in Las Vegas on the 4th (local time) and unveil the artificial intelligence (AI) portable projector "The Freestyle+."
"The Freestyle+" is equipped with various AI screen optimization technologies, enabling projection not only on walls and ceilings but also on corners and curtains.
The "3D Auto Keystone" feature corrects the image in real time to an optimized screen close to a rectangle even when projecting onto various surfaces such as three-sided corners or curved curtains rather than flat surfaces.
In addition, "Screen Calibration" minimizes distracting elements when projecting onto walls with colors or patterns by having AI analyze the wall pattern.
It also includes "Real-time Focus," which corrects adjustment noise and blurred focus that occur when changing the screen angle in real time, and "Screen Fit," in which AI automatically adjusts the screen position, size, and angle to fit a dedicated screen area.
The Freestyle+ also supports 430 ISO lumens of brightness—about twice that of the previous model—delivering sharper image quality even under indirect lighting.
Samsung Electronics equipped The Freestyle+ with the integrated AI platform "Vision AI Companion," which is supported on Samsung TVs and monitors. Users can access the industry's largest set of AI agents, including Bixby, Copilot, and Perplexity, and can get answers on a range of topics, including movie recommendations and sports results.
