Samsung SDS said on the 2nd it will invest 427.3 billion won to build a new artificial intelligence (AI) data center in Gumi.

Samsung SDS plans to build an AI data center on the Gumi site acquired from Samsung Electronics in Dec. last year.

Samsung SDS said it held a board meeting that day and approved the plan. The investment amount will be used for the data center building construction and facility setup expense. The construction completion and operation start date is scheduled for Mar. 2029.
