The Korea Artificial Intelligence and Software Industry Association (KOSA) said on the 30th that it will form a "K-AI Full-Stack Model" consortium with leading domestic artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud corporations.
MegaZoneCloud, LG AI Research, NC AI, Upstage, URACLE, FuriosaAI, and Rebellions will join the K-AI full-stack consortium. For the initial consortium, MegaZoneCloud, which has experience executing large overseas projects, will serve as the primary contractor, and the other participating corporations will join as co-participants.
KOSA said the project's goal is to present the technological capabilities of Korea's AI industry under a single "national brand (K-AI)." The participating corporations plan to propose to overseas markets a finished model of Korea's AI that operates in real industrial settings through the AI full-stack alliance model.
The K-AI full-stack model consists of a five-tier structure covering AI Semiconductor, cloud infrastructure, foundation models, AI/NPU operation and management, and AI applications. Each tier combines the participating corporations' proven technologies with real industrial use cases.
KOSA President Cho Jun-hee said, "This project is an attempt for Korea's AI corporations to step into the global market not as competitors but under the K-AI full-stack model with a Team Korea spirit," adding, "The goal is to establish ourselves as a reliable, country-level AI partner in overseas markets through a Korea-style AI full stack."
