Neowiz said on the 30th that its mobile RPG "BrownDust2," serviced by the company and developed by GamfsN, will take part back-to-back in major subculture events held in Japan and China.
First, "BrownDust2" will participate in the 107th Comic Market (C107), the world's largest subculture festival, held at Tokyo Big Sight in Japan for two days from today through the 31st. At the local booth, the game will present not only stage events featuring top-tier global cosplayers such as "Enako," "Shinonome Umi," and "HaneAme," but also a "fan exchange event space" where attendees can photograph cosplayers individually. In particular, it will run a VIP zone and hold a "sekjogi" autographed shikishi session by the character original illustrator, and operate fandom-tailored events by distributing a special booklet produced in collaboration with Japan's "Famitsu."
Then, from Jan. 1, the first day of the new year, to the 3rd, it will participate in the "Guangzhou Bilibili Animation Game Carnival." The event, held at the "Pazhou Poly World Trade Center)" in Guangzhou, China, is known as a major subculture event in China. Participating with a company booth, "BrownDust2" will hold a special event featuring eight top-tier cosplayers from Korea and China. Showcasing a star-studded cosplayer lineup, including Korea's "Yasal," "Yoon Seol-hwa," "Narittang," and "Euna," and China's "Ryoko Rioko" and "Miz Maoqiu," the event's second day will see GamfsN CEO Lee June-hee visit the venue to engage with fans.
Neowiz said it plans to showcase the unique intellectual property (IP) competitiveness of "BrownDust2" through participation in these major subculture events in Japan and China, and to further solidify its presence in the global subculture market based on communication with fans.
