Kolon Benit said on the 29th that it successfully completed its long-term AX talent development training program, designed to systematically cultivate on-the-job artificial intelligence (AI) talent.
The AX talent development program was planned to cultivate execution-focused AX talent in-house who apply AI technology to real work to raise both productivity and decision-making. Kolon Benit set as the core of AX a structure in which frontline employees themselves use AI and data to lead work innovation, moving beyond AI adoption centered on an IT-dedicated organization or a handful of experts.
The training began by selecting personnel equivalent to about 5% of all employees, linked to the company's core talent system in 2024. It was operated in phases for about 22 months from Mar. 2024 to Dec. 2025, and consisted of a long-term, multidimensional curriculum that ranged from basic theories of AI and data analysis to practical, work-based assignments using on-the-job data. The entire course was designed based on application to work, not learning for its own sake.
A total of about 70 AX projects were reviewed in the course, and nine projects, prioritized for effectiveness, were pursued. These projects delivered meaningful results in reducing workload for those in charge and in gaining insights through data analysis, proving that AI technology can be linked to actual work streamlining and advancement.
As a result, among the employees who completed the training to the end, about 40% were cultivated as "master"-level talent capable of taking the lead on AI and data analysis projects, and about 60% were cultivated as "expert"-level talent capable of conducting their own analyses through expert mentoring. In addition, about 90% of the graduates obtained the Advanced Data Analytics Semi-Professional (ADsP) certification, providing objective verification of their practical, analysis-focused capabilities.
Chief Executive Kang I-gu of Kolon Benit said, "AX depends less on introducing technology itself and more on how many people in the organization can apply it to real work," and added, "Kolon Benit will cultivate internal AX leaders from a long-term perspective, not as a short-term fad, and build an AI execution model that raises work efficiency and competitiveness across the group."
