Neowiz said on the 24th that it will officially launch the Nintendo Switch version of Sannabi Side Story: The Day Possessed, a 2D action platformer published by the company and developed by Wonder Potion, globally on Jan. 15.
Sannabi Side Story: The Day Possessed is a prequel to the main title Sannabi, depicting the secret hidden in a robot scrapyard against the backdrop of the past when protagonist Maj. Song first confronted Brig. Gen. Jun. Nintendo Switch users can play the digital download version for free after the release date.
Neowiz will release the physical Nintendo Switch package Signal Redux Edition in February. The bundle includes the main title and the side story, and preorders will be taken from the 24th at the Shinsegae I&C Naver Store and Soprano Naver Store operated by Gamepia. All preorder customers will receive a specially made acrylic stand, which will be shipped sequentially in February after the preorder period ends.
Along with this, the company is joining the Steam Winter Sale, offering a 35% discount on the main title Sannabi and a 10% discount on the Sannabi soundtrack through Jan. 5. Both the main title and the side story maintain an "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating on Steam.
A Neowiz official said, "With the release of the Nintendo Switch version, we are able to present the expanded story of the Sannabi IP to more users," and added, "We also hope the physical package scheduled for release in February will be meaningful content for fans."
