S2W said on the 24th that it signed a strategic partnership with the Royal Sumatra Group (RS Group) of Indonesia and will cooperate in areas that combine big data analytics, generative artificial intelligence (AI), and AI security technologies.
RS Group operates more than 20 affiliates across various industries, including defense, medical device manufacturing, and real estate development, and has built an extensive business infrastructure and network focused on Southeast Asia.
Through this partnership, the two companies will seek business opportunities to create synergy between S2W's AI-based data intelligence and cybersecurity capabilities and RS Group's broad business portfolio. S2W said it plans to use the partnership with RS Group as a springboard to enter the local business-to-business (B2B) market and expand its business across the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
RS Group CEO Lee Seungjoon said, "If RS Group's business capabilities are combined with S2W's AI and big data technologies, we will be able to generate tangible results not only in Indonesia but across ASEAN," adding, "With this partnership as a starting point, we will gradually flesh out cooperative projects that the two companies can pursue."
Suh Hyunmin, head of strategy and planning at S2W, said, "Indonesia is a key market where demand for advanced technology is surging on the back of solid economic growth and the spread of digital transformation (DX), and it is a strategic base that will drive S2W's mid- to long-term growth," adding, "By adding the synergy from our cooperation with RS Group to the technological prowess proven through two solution supply contracts with government agencies, we will broaden S2W's business stage to Indonesia and across Southeast Asia."
