NHN Techorus said on the 23rd that it was named a finalist in the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) institutional sector for healthcare and life sciences at AWS's "Geo and Global AWS Partner Award 2025."
The AWS Partner Awards is a program that selects partners that supported customer innovation and solution building and contributed to the growth of the AWS ecosystem from among corporations belonging to the AWS Partner Network (APN) worldwide. Based on expertise, innovation, customer success cases, and business performance, the top three corporations in each institutional sector are chosen as finalists after verification by a third-party organization and review by an AWS expert panel.
NHN Techorus was listed as a finalist in the APJ region in the institutional sector of "Industry Partner of the Year – Healthcare & Life Sciences." The recognition reflects its proven capabilities in building and operating stable cloud systems in the Japanese market, based on its comprehensive cloud support service "C-Chorus."
NHN Techorus is a specialized IT infrastructure services subsidiary of NHN Japan, NHN's Japanese affiliate, providing B2B technology services such as cloud build-outs and hosting, data science, and security in the Japanese market. It holds AWS Premier Tier Services Partner and Google Cloud Premier Partner qualifications and has recorded more than 7,500 cumulative contracts.
In particular, NHN Techorus has carried out numerous projects to build AWS-based system infrastructure and create data utilization environments, focusing on the healthcare and life sciences fields, which require high security. Through this, it has supported the digital transformation of Japanese corporations and expanded industry-specific cloud use cases.
The finalist recognition is seen as evidence that the cloud technical capabilities and operational expertise NHN Techorus has built up in the Japanese market through collaboration with AWS are translating into customer outcomes. In fact, boosted by rising demand for digital transformation, NHN Techorus posted a 26% year-over-year increase in cloud revenue in the third quarter this year.
NHN Techorus CEO Shirakura Akiteru said, "Our efforts to strengthen cloud build and operations capabilities in the Japanese market led to our selection as a finalist in this year's AWS Partner Awards," adding, "We will continue to reliably support customers' cloud adoption."
