Google Cloud said on the 23rd it will integrate and provide the latest Generative AI model Gemini 3 to loomloom, the artificial intelligence (AI) character platform of Extended Reality (XR) platform corporations Anipen.
Loomloom is a Generative AI content platform where users can give names and stories to characters they create themselves, expand the universe based on them, and communicate with other users. With just a simple idea input, it can generate image and video content, and conversational interaction with AI characters is also possible. The service was officially launched in the global market in September.
Anipen fully built loomloom on Google Cloud infrastructure to ensure stable service operations for global users. It said this secured scalability and security. Google Cloud's Vertex AI and Gemini models are applied to loomloom's core functions. The Imagen model is used for image generation, and the VEO model is used for image-based video generation to enhance the expressiveness of character content.
In particular, Gemini 3 serves as the "core intelligence" across loomloom. It automatically converts simple user ideas into prompts optimized for content generation and automatically composes character profiles, background narratives, and universe settings. Through the Gemini 3-based in-app chatbot, users can also have real-time conversations with the characters they created.
Anipen plans to expand the scope of collaboration by introducing Google's music-generation AI model "Lyria" in the future. It aims to continuously apply the latest Generative AI models across on-device and cloud environments to boost service performance and efficiency.
Chief Executive Jeon Jae-ung of Anipen said, "Introducing Google Cloud's Generative AI full stack is a strategic choice to provide a differentiated creative experience to global users," and added, "We will continue to strengthen our competitiveness as an AI content platform."
Google Cloud Korea President Ruth Sun said, "Loomloom is a case that shows how Google Cloud's Generative AI technology can be applied to content services," and noted, "We will actively support Anipen's global market expansion."
