Samsung SDS said on the 23rd that it signed a reseller partner agreement to become the first in Korea to provide and support OpenAI's ChatGPT Enterprise for domestic corporate customers.
ChatGPT Enterprise provides enterprise-grade security and privacy and can be used at faster speeds. It also offers features specialized for corporate use, including an extended ▲context window that can handle longer inputs ▲advanced data analysis ▲a variety of customization options.
Samsung SDS will accompany corporations through the entire journey from adoption to management of ChatGPT Enterprise by providing the technical support, consulting, and security services needed to introduce ChatGPT Enterprise. Samsung SDS will also provide consulting, implementation, and operations services using the OpenAI API (application programming interface).
Samsung SDS said the agreement enables it to offer a range of services to corporate customers seeking an artificial intelligence (AI) transition. It noted that it plans to strengthen competitiveness in its AI business by combining Samsung SDS' industry know-how with OpenAI's technology.
Kim Kyung-hoon, head of OpenAI Korea, said, "One of OpenAI Korea's main goals is to support the AI transition of domestic corporations," adding, "Through the reseller agreement with Samsung SDS, we hope to expand OpenAI's enterprise services to more domestic corporations."
Lee Ho-jun, head of the Samsung SDS Cloud Services Division (executive vice president), said, "Through this agreement, we expect to lead AX innovation for corporate customers by being the first to provide OpenAI's AI services to domestic corporations," adding, "We plan to supply ChatGPT Enterprise to corporations and customers across various industries."
