Samsung Electronics said on the 22nd it will begin selling its ultralight cordless stick vacuum "Jet Fit" starting on the 23rd.
The new model weighs 1.96 kg, making it the lightest among Samsung Electronics stick vacuums. In the handheld form with the brush and pipe detached, it weighs only 1.18 kg, allowing cleaning in hard-to-reach places such as shelves and window frames.
The digital inverter motor delivers up to 180W of suction power. The lightweight battery runs for up to 50 minutes in normal mode.
Cleaning performance was improved by applying a "double action cleaning" structure that widens the brush's contact area with the floor and agitates dust stuck to the floor for capture. A toothed scraper on the brush also minimizes tangles of dust and hair. Side LEDs allow cleaning in dark areas.
The "5-layer filter system" applied to the new product blocks 99.999% of fine dust in the air drawn in during cleaning.
Jet Fit supports smart functions at each stage of use, from operation to charging and storage.
The newly introduced "smart motion cleaning" automatically stops operation and switches to standby when a pause is detected, such as when the user sets the vacuum on the floor or leans it against a wall. If the pause lasts more than 1 minute, it automatically turns off the power to prevent battery drain.
An LCD display on the handle shows suction level, remaining runtime, battery charging status, and more.
Samsung Electronics plans to host a "The First Look" exhibition at CES 2026 in Las Vegas next month and unveil a range of new vacuum cleaners featuring the latest technologies.
