This year, 330 million posts were published on Naver Blog, marking an all-time high. That means 600 new posts went up every minute.
On the 22nd, Naver released the 2025 blog report, which summarizes notable points related to its blog service this year. The number of unique visitors to the blog surpassed 45 million, and the number of neighbors formed on the blog this year reached 140 million. Every day, 400,000 new neighbors were created.
In July, Naver introduced the "writing prompt feed," a feature that allows users to continuously browse blog posts with the same prompts attached, such as movies, books, and music. In September, it unveiled a new blog home that strengthened AI-based recommendations based on neighbor relationships, interests, and activity history.
Eighty percent of participants in the "What's in My Blog" challenge, which records personal tastes using various prompts, were in their teens and 30s. The company analyzed that there has been an active trend of segmenting and recording one's tastes and checking trends that are not exaggerated through blogs.
The number of posts with prompts attached was tallied at about 70 million, up 77% from last year. Among prompts, the most popular categories were music, books, and movies, in that order.
