Nexon's online game "MapleStory" rose to No. 1 in PC café share on the strength of a PC café event effect. It is the first time since the start of service that it has topped major PC café statistics.
Nexon said on the 22nd that "MapleStory" recorded a 45.07% PC café share on the 21st based on "The Log," a PC café statistics service, achieving the highest figure among all games. This result overtook existing top-tier games such as League of Legends and Battlegrounds.
This record is the best performance in MapleStory's 22-year service history, far surpassing the roughly 25% share recorded during last summer's major update. Nexon noted that recent PC café-related events and user inflows contributed to the rise in share.
"The Log" is a statistics service compiled based on franchisees of "Geto," a PC café management platform operated by Nexon subsidiary N Media Platform.
