Okestro said on the 22nd that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Yonsei University Institute of AI Innovation for joint research on artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
The agreement was prepared to systematically promote AI joint research and data cooperation centered on Okestro AGI, Okestro's AI specialty affiliate. By combining Okestro AGI's experience in AI development and operations with the research infrastructure of the Yonsei University Institute of AI Innovation, the two sides plan to push forward joint research on core AI technologies and gradually strengthen the foundation for industry-academia collaboration.
Okestro AGI will lead the discovery and execution of AI joint research projects. Based on ontology-based AI technology and experience carrying out projects by industry, Okestro AGI will plan the joint research and oversee the entirety of AI joint research with the Yonsei University Institute of AI Innovation.
Through the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in a wide range of areas, including joint research on AI technology, data sharing and analysis, co-hosting academic conferences, exchanges of research personnel, and the utilization and dissemination of joint research achievements. The research results and know-how accumulated during the joint research process will be shared through academic events and seminars, and the two sides will also work together to nurture AI talent by linking education and research programs.
Okestro AGI and the Yonsei University Institute of AI Innovation plan to continue cooperation that connects research sites with industrial sites through this agreement and contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of Korea's AI technology and cultivating talent.
