Samsung Electronics said on the 22nd that from Jan. 1 to Jan. 14 next year, customers who buy a tablet promotion model and want a storage upgrade will get 50% of the upgrade expense covered. For example, if a customer planning to purchase the "Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra (WI-FI)" 256GB (1,598,300 won) wants to upgrade to the 512GB (1,767,700 won) model, the customer can receive 84,700 won, which is 50% of the 169,400 won difference.
Samsung Electronics will extend the Galaxy Tab warranty period sold from Jan. 1 next year to two years for the first time in Korea. However, the two-year warranty period is not applied retroactively to products purchased before.
This event is part of the "Galaxy AI Academy" promotion that Samsung Electronics will run from Jan. 1 to Mar. 31 next year to mark graduation and admission season. "Galaxy AI Academy" is an event where customers can buy the latest Galaxy AI-equipped products with various benefits, including △ Galaxy Tab S11 series, △ Galaxy Book5 Pro, and △ Galaxy Watch8 series.
During the "Galaxy AI Academy" period, Samsung Electronics will sell genuine accessories at up to 50% off and provide a three-month pass for "Samsung Care+," which eases repair expense burdens in case of product damage, to customers who buy premium AI tablets △ Galaxy Tab S11 △ Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra △ Galaxy Tab S10+. Customers who purchase the "Galaxy Buds3 FE" together can also receive an additional 40,000 won discount.
During the event, customers who purchase PC promotion products such as the "Galaxy Book5 Pro series" will receive a package that includes "Microsoft 365 Personal (1-year subscription)," a discount on the "SWEETCH" backpack, and a three-month pass for "Samsung Care+." In addition, during the "Galaxy AI Academy" period, Samsung Electronics will sell △ Galaxy Buds3 FE, △ Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025), and △ Galaxy Watch8 series at discounted prices.
From the 19th to the 31st of this month, ahead of the promotion launch, Samsung Electronics will run a "pre-notification sign-up event" on Samsung.com and open markets. It will draw 1,000 participating customers to give one Starbucks Americano Tall e-gift card each, and for customers who sign up for pre-notification and then purchase event products, it will provide benefits worth 10,000 won depending on the purchased item and sales channel.
Samsung Electronics will also run the "Academy pre-purchase AI experience group" program. If customers who purchase eligible tablet or PC models on Samsung.com or open markets from the 26th to the 31st of this month leave a purchase review by Jan. 15 next year, Samsung Electronics will provide additional benefits worth 50,000 won on top of the basic benefits.
