NC AI said on the 22nd it has launched the customized voice-generation service "Barco Voice" and the real-time translation service "Barco Translation."
The two newly launched services provide multilingual voice generation and translation features to support dubbing and translation needed in content production. They are designed to be used for various types of content, including video, audio, and documents.
NC AI introduced an integrated subscription pricing system that allows users to access both services under a single subscription. New subscribers can use voice generation and some translation features with basic credits provided, while paid users can choose tiered plans based on usage. The Starter plan costs 6,600 won per month and offers 3,000 credits, enough for 11 minutes of dubbing, while the Creator plan costs 38,500 won per month and offers 17,500 credits, enough for 70 minutes of dubbing.
Barco Voice is a text-to-speech (TTS)-based service that generates multilingual voices. It offers more than 250 multilingual voices and can generate new voices using short voice samples or convert existing voices to different tones. The generated voice is converted into English, Japanese, Taiwanese, and other languages while maintaining the original characteristics.
Barco Translation provides video, text, document, and image translation features. It separates a video's voice and background sounds to support multilingual translation and dubbing, and includes playback speed and timing adjustment features. Document translation proceeds while preserving the original format, and the service maintains consistency in translation results through text extraction and translation within images and a glossary feature.
With this launch, NC AI plans to support content studios and individual creators with voice generation and translation needed to produce multilingual content. It is also reviewing ways to expand use beyond content to various industries, including manufacturing and commerce.
