Blockchain platform XION said on the 17th that its co-founder and chief executive officer (CEO), Anthony Anzalone, was selected for Forbes' "30 Under 30 – finance institutional sector."
CEO Anzalone drew attention by demonstrating the scarcity and ownership concept of digital asset through a public performance in which a physical work by street artist Banksy was burned and reconstituted as an NFT (non-fungible token).
XION is a Web3 platform that touts regulatory friendliness and optimized environments for corporations, supporting full decentralization and on-chain execution based on a design that meets global regulations such as Europe's MiCA.
It introduced a "wallet-less onboarding" method that allows access without a wallet or seed phrase by using familiar authentication methods such as Apple ID. This method has been applied to authentication, commerce, and digital services of global brands such as Uber, Amazon, and BMW, and currently supports more than 5 million users.
Anzalone is also a co-founder and general partner of Web3-focused venture capital firm Vessel Capital, managing a $55 million fund.
Forbes selects 30 people in each industry every year based on innovation, tangible impact, and growth potential. Seventy percent of this year's honorees were Gen Z founders.
