LG Electronics said on the 18th it will unveil a new home audio system, "LG Sound Suite," consisting of a soundbar, wireless surround speakers, and a subwoofer, at CES 2026, the world's largest home appliance and IT exhibition opening in Las Vegas on Jan. 6 (local time).
LG Sound Suite supports Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, an advanced audio technology that, for the first time in a soundbar, recognizes speaker placement and optimizes audio signals. It is a system enhanced with LG Electronics' proprietary wireless transmission technology that delivers high-quality audio without loss.
LG Sound Suite lets users enjoy sound optimized for the space even when speakers are placed freely. LG Electronics offers various LG Sound Suite product combination options so customers can create a home entertainment setup tailored to their preferences.
When configuring a home audio system centered on a soundbar, users can design sound that fits their lifestyle and living environment with a total of 27 options. Installing LG Sound Suite with a combination of one soundbar, four wireless surround speakers (M7), and one subwoofer delivers up to 13.1.7 channels for theater-level audio on a grand scale.
The soundbar is equipped with the third-generation Alpha 11 AI processor, the same as the 2026 OLED TV lineup, enabling "AI Sound Pro Plus," an audio signal processing feature based on Deep Learning algorithms. It sets up a viewing environment by distinguishing voices from music and effects to make actors' voices sound clear and by detecting content types to refine sound effects.
Even without a soundbar, 22 combinations are possible when using an LG TV that supports Dolby Atmos FlexConnect as the main device. Adding LG Sound Suite's surround speakers to an LG TV creates a setup specialized for mid-to-high frequencies, making dialogue in movies and drama stand out clearly. LG Electronics plans to support Dolby Atmos FlexConnect in its 2026 premium TV lineup. Support will be expanded to select 2025 models through a future software update.
"Sound Follow," which identifies the listener's position and adjusts audio using ultra-wideband wireless communication technology specialized for precise position and distance measurement, is also a strength of LG Sound Suite. When users tap their current location in the LG ThinQ application, sound is automatically calibrated based on the listener's position.
All LG Sound Suite models also feature "Room Calibration Pro," which creates sound optimized for the shape of the space. It analyzes characteristics such as the layout of the installation area to adjust audio.
In addition, every LG Sound Suite product is equipped with premium sound drivers from Denmark's "Peerless," known for precise sound.
Lee Jeong-seok, head of audio at the MS Business Division of LG Electronics (executive vice president), said, "Through LG Sound Suite, which lets customers design their own sound to add to the joy of listening in line with their lifestyle, we will strengthen our leadership in the global audio market."
