HP Korea said on the 17th it will launch a new workstation, the ZGX Nano G1n AI Station, in Korea for workers in AI roles such as developers and data scientists.
The ZGX Nano G1n implements a computing environment for running large-scale AI models in an ultra-small 150 mm square desktop form factor. By processing data directly on the device in a local mode without sending it to external servers, it performs AI development and inference while reducing reliance on the cloud.
The ZGX Nano AI Station is a new lineup HP introduced under a corporate vision of redefining the work of the future. It was designed to respond to a changing environment that includes growing demand for local AI computing, an increasing need to strengthen data security, and cloud expense burdens.
This ZGX Nano G1n supplements the handling of large models and the developer experience that were lacking in conventional desktop and laptop environments, and provides a foundation to gradually expand corporations' AI workflows.
Kim Dae-hwan, head of HP Korea, said, "In AI development environments, speed, security, and cost efficiency are directly tied to corporations' competitiveness," adding, "The ZGX Nano G1n provides an environment where developers can start work without complex setup and handle even advanced models locally. It will raise the speed, stability, and efficiency of AI development to a new level."
