Samsung Electronics said on the 17th it will expand its lineup of "Micro RGB TV," which concentrates the latest picture-quality technology.
Samsung Electronics, which first launched a 115-inch Micro RGB TV in Aug., diversified the 2026 Micro RGB TV lineup into six sizes: 55, 66, 75, 85, and 100 inches.
Micro RGB TV applies an RGB color backlight that finely arranges micro-sized red, green, and blue (RGB) light-emitting diodes (LEDs) on the screen, allowing independent control of red, green, and blue colors. As the elements become more microscopic, it can render deep blacks and bright images with precision.
Samsung Micro RGB TV features a high-performance artificial intelligence (AI) engine to deliver overwhelming color across all content. It also comes with Bixby, Perplexity, and Copilot, providing the TV industry's most AI service platforms. Samsung Electronics aims to aggressively target the premium TV market by expanding the Micro RGB TV lineup.
Samsung Electronics will hold a "The First Look" showcase and exhibit the Micro RGB TV at CES 2026, the world's largest home appliance and IT trade show, in Las Vegas in Jan. next year.
Vice President Lee Heon of Samsung Electronics' Visual Display Division said, "By expanding the Micro RGB TV lineup, we will meet the needs of many consumers who want the best picture quality experience," adding, "We will also secure leadership in the Micro RGB market."
