SK AX said on the 16th it will unveil an artificial intelligence (AI)-based SHE (safety, health and environment) service, the "CEO peace-of-mind package," that can systematically prevent and manage various serious industrial accidents.
The "CEO peace-of-mind package" is an integrated solution that uses AI technology to identify potential risk factors at each business site in advance and manage whether workers are fulfilling their safety obligations, while enabling immediate response when an accident occurs. Based on vast data from industrial sites, it provides real-time safety management status to support management decision-making and focuses on reducing the risk of damage to corporate value.
SK AX said that despite heightened legal liability for serious accidents and growing reputation risks for corporations, many corporate executives are struggling to secure systematic safety management information. In response, through the "CEO peace-of-mind package," it enabled executives to grasp at a glance the overall level of safety management and key risk factors at business sites, and to build a prevention-centered management system.
It also combines wearable sensors with AI technology to detect in real time risky worker behaviors, approaches to danger zones, and potential risk factors, and to provide alerts. The company said it also made it possible to build a safety management system that integrates prediction, response, and improvement by linking health status detection based on biometric signals with risk assessment.
Choi Jin-min, representative partner of SK AX Accerton Partners, said, "An AI-based digital SHE system is core infrastructure that substantively supports corporations' safety management," adding, "We will do our best to ensure the CEO peace-of-mind package helps create a safe work environment that both management and on-site workers can trust."
