Kakao said on the 16th that it updated its AI agent app service "Kanana" to further enhance the user experience.
The Kanana app is a service where users can chat with the group AI mate "Kana" and the personal AI mate "Nana" to experience AI in a friendly way. Based on user feedback, the app's structure was revamped in Oct. and topic-specific special AI mates were introduced. This update focuses on expanding personalized user experiences and community-based AI use.
First, it raised the level of personalization by introducing an interest registration feature. When users register their areas of interest, the AI mate remembers them to optimize answers and suggests customized content across the app. For example, users who prefer health-related information receive health-related content on the home screen and can ask questions with one click.
In addition, the newly added "AI Studio" feature can generate group photos of up to six people and can create images in various styles. It is expected to offer users new fun by letting them enjoy and share creative content with acquaintances.
Along with this, a "web search" mode was added in chat rooms to improve the accuracy and reliability of information searches, and a response-sharing feature was also added to enhance user convenience. Kakao said it will continue to deliver value to more users through ongoing updates.
