LG Electronics said on the 15th it will unveil an upgraded LG Signature lineup powered by artificial intelligence (AI) at CES 2026, the world's largest home appliance and IT trade show, to be held in Las Vegas on the 6th of next month (local time).
LG Electronics plans to solidify its position as a premium brand in the global market with LG Signature, which enhances core product performance and ease of use through AI. LG Signature is LG Electronics' premium brand that pursues differentiated performance, design faithful to fundamentals, and intuitive usability. LG Electronics first introduced LG Signature in 2016.
The newly unveiled LG Signature has expanded to a total of 10 product categories: refrigerator, washing machine, dryer, washer-dryer, dishwasher, oven range, wall oven, hood, cooktop, and hood-combined microwave.
Marking its 10th year, the revamped Signature also incorporates a wide range of AI-based convenience features. The new LG Signature refrigerator features AI voice recognition that understands customers' everyday speech based on a large language model (LLM). If a customer asks, "Hi LG, which mode is good to store meat for about a week?" the AI recognizes it, recommends the mode that keeps meat fresh longer, and sets it.
The AI food management solution of the smart Instaview refrigerator reduces the hassle of managing ingredients. Using internal cameras, the AI automatically recognizes food going in and out of the fridge, and recommends personalized recipes based on the identified ingredients. The upgraded Instaview technology with a transparent OLED provides a cover screen that harmonizes with the surrounding interior under normal conditions.
The Gourmet AI feature of the oven range identifies ingredients with an internal camera and recommends recipes for more than 80 menu items. After placing the ingredients and closing the oven, the recommended menu appears on the 6.8-inch LCD screen for convenient cooking. The AI browning alert feature sends an alert when croissants reach the doneness the customer selected.
In addition, visitors to the exhibition hall can experience innovative Signature products such as a dishwasher with a "pop-out handle" that automatically extends when a user's hand approaches, and a hood-combined microwave that allows real-time viewing of the cooking process through a 27-inch front-mounted liquid crystal display (LCD) screen.
LG Electronics said it will maintain the refined design identity that embodies the LG Signature philosophy while adding a customization strategy that reflects customer preferences by country and region. The company plans to strengthen market competitiveness and cement its position as a global premium brand by expanding its customer base with products that meet diverse premium demands across regions and countries.
At this exhibition, LG Electronics will highlight high-end design that maximizes harmony with interiors through installations tailored to the space within the Signature lineup. LG Electronics will create the Signature zone in collaboration with the Italian luxury furniture brand Poliform. The space will showcase the appeal of premium design through three themes: Seamless, which harmonizes with interiors in a built-in style with metal materials and no protrusions; Iconic, which applies a gold line symbolic of Signature; and Tailored, which emphasizes refined texture with white tones and premium wood materials.
