LG Uplus said on the 14th that it has released a "Google AI Pro" partnership product, the first among domestic telecom operators.
Any LG Uplus customer who signs up for the "Google AI Pro" mobile add-on service by the 30th can use Google's AI service Gemini 3 and 2TB of cloud storage freely for a monthly 14,500 won, a 50% discount.
"Google AI Pro" is a monthly subscription product that offers ▲Gemini 3 ▲the image generation model Nano Banana Pro ▲the report-writing model DeepResearch, among others. Based on close collaboration with Google, LG Uplus became the only domestic telecom operator able to launch the "Google AI Pro" product.
"Google AI Pro" is available not only as an add-on service but also as a mobile-only plan. Customers subscribed to the Nugget plans Nugget 65 (80GB of data, 65,000 won per month) and Nugget 69 (unlimited data, 60,900 won per month) can use it at no additional expense. Customers on unlimited data 5G plans can also choose "Google AI Pro" as a premier service starting in January next year.
To mark the launch of the new add-on service, LG Uplus is running a promotion offering Google AI Pro at a 50% discounted price. Customers who sign up for Google AI Pro as a mobile add-on service by the 30th of this month can use it for 14,500 won per month, a 50% discount. The 50% discount is maintained for up to two years and will be automatically canceled after two years from signup.
