Melon, the music platform of Kakao Entertainment, said on the 11th that it opened the "2025 My Record (MY RECORD)" music big data lookup service so each user can look back on their listening history at year's end.
This "2025 My Record" can be found under "Annual log" in "MusicDNA" on the Melon app. Unlike previous years, this year it presents your music record as story cards so you can view the overall flow of the year at a glance.
The card-format items include: ▲ most-played songs of the year (2025 MY SONG) ▲ most-played artists of the year (2025 MY ARTIST) ▲ "My activity badges" collection ▲ most-played playlists by season ▲ a playlist summarizing the previous records.
With this, you can check and immediately listen to your most loved artists and songs of the year, as well as playlists by season. In "My activity badges," you can also have fun checking your tastes through various witty badges earned from your Melon listening history and actions, such as "Top 100 owner," "Perfect score in listening to pop (POP)," "Japan-sentiment maniac," and "Healing-music enthusiast."
Melon is also holding a social media (SNS) sharing event through the 31st to mark the opening of "2025 My Record." Any member with a Melon pass can capture their annual music data in card form and upload it to Instagram feeds with the designated hashtags and leave a completion comment on the event post, and participate on X (formerly Twitter) by tagging the Melon account when uploading a post. Participants will receive generous gifts through a drawing, including Shinsegae gift certificates worth 500,000 won (2 winners) and AirPods Max (1 winner).
