Kakao said on the 11th that it officially launched Kakao Moment AI, an artificial intelligence (AI)-based ad operations support service.
Kakao Moment AI is a service designed to boost ad execution efficiency for self-employed people and small-business owners who want to use the Moment ad platform but have difficulty operating it, by providing functions that interpret ad data and propose operational directions. By having AI handle complex setup and analysis, advertisers can easily check and choose actions needed to improve campaigns.
It analyzes campaign data for each advertiser and provides an optimization score ranging from 18 to 100. The score is calculated by combining recent performance changes, competitive conditions, creative fatigue, and more, and it presents actionable suggestions that could raise the score. Advertisers can bookmark the suggested actions or go directly to the settings screen to apply them.
Advertisers can also compare competitors' performance based on key metrics such as budget, click-through rate (CTR), and conversion rate (CVR). Current standing versus the industry average is provided in percentile units, allowing even advertisers with limited experience to objectively grasp performance levels and use the information for budget allocation and creative strategy.
Kakao Moment AI also provides customer behavior analysis. It analyzes the process from ad awareness to visit, consideration, and conversion in a four-stage funnel to identify drop-off points. Advertisers can view behavioral data such as age group, interests, and usage patterns for Gift and Talk Deal at each stage.
Kakao plans to expand Moment AI into a service that supports decision-making across the entire ad operations process. It will add strategy functions such as goal setting, budget allocation, target definition, and creative experiments, and will also provide automatic creative generation and simulator-based A/B testing. The goal is a model in which AI progressively supports the entire process from ad report analysis to strategy development and execution.
A Kakao official said, "We designed it so that businesses running their own ads do not struggle to interpret data and can immediately check actionable improvements," adding, "We plan to expand features so AI can support decision-making throughout the entire ad operations process."
