Salesforce, Inc. said on the 10th (local time) at the "Agentforce World Tour New York" in New York that it will fully open its next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) platform, "Agentforce 360."
Unveiled in Oct., "Agentforce 360" is an AI platform that fully integrates Salesforce, Inc.'s core product lines—Data 360, Slack, and Tableau. It helps users without specialized knowledge develop and use AI agents needed for their work.
With the opening of this platform, Salesforce, Inc. plans to lead the building of an ecosystem that goes beyond simple AI app development to create additional business value. According to Salesforce, Inc., going forward, anyone—industry experts in manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, finance, and the public sector, individual developers, and startups—will be able to dramatically speed up app development using no-code and low-code tools and more than 500 prebuilt functions.
Already developed AI agents and various applications can be sold through Salesforce, Inc.'s own app marketplace, AppExchange, to generate revenue, and it also provides provisioning automation that automatically prepares and configures the necessary IT resources.
Along with this, Salesforce, Inc. unveiled "Trusted Context" to improve the accuracy and reliability of AI agents. It integrates the metadata management capabilities of Informatica, which was recently acquired, and the integration technology of MuleSoft with Salesforce, Inc.'s Data 360. Without moving data, it connects all data and real-time operational signals within corporations to provide an environment where AI agents can fully understand context, reason, and carry out tasks.
The day's conference also featured innovative adoption cases in education and the public sector. DeVry University in the United States uses Agentforce 360 to provide 24/7 personalized learning and automate enrollment so counselors can move away from repetitive tasks and focus on more strategic activities such as learning coaching and career development. The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) is working with Salesforce, Inc. on a project to transform the national transportation safety system.
Park Se-jin, head of Salesforce, Inc. Korea, said, "Now Salesforce, Inc.'s customers and all industry experts can easily convert their data and expertise into AI agents as a mid- to long-term asset and a competitive business execution capability," adding, "Based on this, we expect the shift in the domestic market to an 'agentic enterprise'—redesigning decision-making and customer experience around AI agents—to accelerate."
