Adobe said on the 11th that it has released Photoshop for ChatGPT, Adobe Express, and Adobe Acrobat, making its flagship creative and productivity apps available to ChatGPT users worldwide.
The Adobe apps for ChatGPT are agentic artificial intelligence (AI) tools that help users perform a wide range of tasks—such as photo retouching, design creation, and document conversion—directly within ChatGPT by describing what they want in natural language. By combining Adobe's powerful editing technology with ChatGPT's conversational interface, the tools expand accessibility so anyone can easily do creative work.
Users can simply type a command in the chat, such as "Adobe Photoshop, blur the background of this image," and the app will automatically launch and make the adjustments. Brightness, contrast, and exposure adjustments and effects in Photoshop; template-based design creation in Express; and PDF editing, merging, and conversion in Acrobat are all available within ChatGPT.
David Wadhwani, president of Adobe's digital media institutional sector, said, "We are thrilled to integrate Photoshop, Express, and Acrobat into ChatGPT," and added, "Now hundreds of millions of users can easily perform Photoshop edits in their own words within the platform they use every day."
The launch follows Adobe's innovations in agentic AI–based conversational experiences and Model Context Protocol (MCP) technology. Adobe has been steadily expanding access to creation, previously introducing the PDF-based AI workspace "Acrobat Studio" and AI Assistants for Photoshop and Express.
Photoshop, Express, and Acrobat for ChatGPT are available for free across desktop, web, and iOS, and Express is offered immediately on Android as well. Android support for Photoshop and Acrobat will be announced soon.
