ATON said on the 11th that it was selected as a supplier for the "Domestic quantum technology components supply and utilization support project" overseen by the National Information Society Agency (NIA) and the Ministry of Science and ICT.
With this selection, ATON officially listed five quantum security products that cover the entire process from input → authentication → transmission → storage (Quantum Safeguard, Quantum Safe OTP, Quantum Safe Line, Quantum Safe Pad, Quantum Safe Box) in the government support program.
The project supports up to 100 million won in purchase expense for corporations and institutions seeking to adopt domestic quantum components, allowing demand-side entities to adopt ATON solutions through government support.
ATON said its quantum security solution combines the standard post-quantum cryptography (PQC) algorithms (ML-DSA, ML-KEM) selected by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) with ATON's white-box encryption technology to defend simultaneously against quantum computer–based decryption threats and current hacking attacks.
ATON plans to use this supplier registration as a springboard to expand its business from finance into high-security industries such as public sector, defense, and healthcare.
