Chabot Mobility said on the 9th that Deputy CEO Kang Byung-hee won the Minister's Award for Technology Innovation from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) at the "2025 INNOBIZ Day" hosted by the INNOBIZ Association.
The award recognized the company's achievement in leading the digital transition of auto commerce by integrating a market structure that had been fragmented across car buying and selling, finance, insurance, and management into a data-driven platform. Chabot Mobility built a leading digital auto commerce model by connecting the driver platform "Chabot," the dealer sales management solution "Chabot Prime," and the used-car dealer app "Cha Teamjang" into a single B2B2C ecosystem.
Based on this platform advancement, the company has maintained an average annual growth rate of 150%, achieving key milestones such as a cumulative transaction volume of 1.4 trillion won, 1.7 million cumulative users, and 22.6 billion won in Series C investment. It is also broadening its global expansion potential by using artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance purchase recommendations, finance matching, and aftercare, and by applying Blockchain and automation to the used-car export process.
Its efforts to expand industry-academia collaboration, run talent development programs, and build an ESG (environmental, social, and governance)-based management system to lay the groundwork for sustainable growth were also cited as reasons for the award.
