S2W said on the 9th that it will supply its security artificial intelligence (AI) platform for corporations and institutions, "QUAXAR," to "Evergreen Marine," a global shipping company headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan.
Evergreen Marine serves more than 240 ports in 80 countries worldwide and has built an extensive logistics network. It is the world's No. 7 global container carrier by capacity. Because the shipping industry operates on international maritime transport networks, it is a core part of the global supply chain infrastructure, and cyberattacks targeting ships and port systems can cause large-scale service disruptions and logistics bottlenecks. As a result, the importance of Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) is underscored in this field. In particular, global carriers that operate massive transport networks like Evergreen Marine are becoming targets of cyber threats due to the nature of diverse routes and complex supply chain structures.
In response, S2W will use QUAXAR to monitor and analyze potential threats and attacker trends that could affect Evergreen Marine and the shipping industry at large, and provide advanced related intelligence. Based on this, it will help customers identify and respond early to risks that are not yet visible.
This order is significant as it confirms the effectiveness of S2W's overseas business strategy to expand into the business-to-business (B2B) market based on the proven technological reliability in the business-to-government (B2G) transaction space. Earlier, S2W secured references such as the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) and the Railway Administration, building a strong customer network centered on the public sector.
The export contract was pursued in cooperation with the local Taiwanese partner Chunghwa Telecom Security (CHTS). S2W said that, having further strengthened its external credibility for global expansion through its listing in Sep., it plans to actively execute its overseas business strategy that extends from the public to the private sector and broadly expand its customer base going forward.
