Xiaomi Korea said on the 9th it will officially launch the mobile transit payment service "Tmoney Co." on its flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 15T Pro.
With this, Xiaomi smartphone users can conveniently pay with Tmoney Co. not only for public transit but also in daily life at convenience stores and cafes. Xiaomi plans to expand models that support Tmoney Co. and continue to offer features tailored to the Korean market.
Xiaomi 15T Pro users can register a transit card with just the smartphone and easily use various features such as recharge, balance inquiry, automatic discounts, and income deduction through the Mobile Tmoney application. Without carrying a physical transit card, users can conveniently take public transit such as buses and subways with the smartphone, and transit fare refunds and reissuance in case of loss can also be handled within the app.
The Xiaomi 15T Pro features a Leica 5x telephoto camera and a Dimensity 9400+ chipset built on a 3nm process, delivering excellent shooting performance and efficient heat management. It also supports a 5,500mAh battery, 90W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging, and the model with 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage is priced at 849,970 won.
Xiaomi Korea will also run a promotion from Dec. 15 to Jan. 1, giving Xiaomi 15T Pro buyers a REDMI Buds 6 valued at 51,800 won. Xiaomi said it will not only drive technological innovation but also deliver a localized user experience, creating a more convenient smartphone environment for Korean consumers through the Tmoney Co. service.
