Koh Young Technology (Koh Young) said on the 9th that it carried out a briquette-sharing volunteer activity in Cheoin-gu, Yongin, to help energy-vulnerable households get through the winter.
Employees of Koh Young took part in the volunteer work that day and delivered briquettes in person. They carried briquettes multiple times along narrow alleys, helping neighbors with limited heating stay warm ahead of the full onset of cold weather.
A company representative said, "Following last year, it was a meaningful time to share warmth with neighbors in the Yongin area this year as well," and added, "We will continue to create employee participation programs to establish a corporate culture that shares responsibility with the local community."
Meanwhile, Koh Young has consistently contributed to the local community through various activities, including support for energy-vulnerable groups, employee volunteer work, and local community co-prosperity programs. Going forward, it plans to strengthen efforts to identify areas needed by the local community and link them to practical support to fulfill the role and responsibility of corporations.
