Okestro said on the 8th that it will participate in the "2025 Bitgaram Energy Valley ICT & Security Conference," to be held on the 11th at the KEPCO KDN Co. (KDN) headquarters in the Gwangju-Jeonnam Joint Innovation City, and will release a strategy for technology and infrastructure in response to the spread of generative artificial intelligence (AI).
The conference, hosted by KEPCO KDN Co. (KDN), will be held under the theme "AI powerhouse, realizing carbon neutrality," with about 2,000 attendees expected from the government, local governments, energy public corporations, and academia. It is expected to serve as a venue for technology exchange that shares strategies for cutting-edge technologies such as AI, cloud, and smart security, and for energy digital innovation (AX·DX).
As the government's generative AI expansion policy aligns with the trend of digital transformation, both public and private organizations are being called to establish technology strategies and overhaul infrastructure for AI-based environments. In particular, securing Data Sovereignty and improving the efficiency of AI infrastructure have emerged as key tasks, and practical response strategies are becoming core issues across the industry.
Okestro will respond to these changes with a presentation under the theme "The AI era: changes and coexistence in technology and work." Jung Jai-hun, Deputy Minister of Okestro AGI, Okestro's AI-specialized affiliate, will speak to present strategic response directions and infrastructure technology measures that public and private organizations should consider.
At the exhibition booth, Okestro will showcase its key solutions reflecting the advanced infrastructure demand driven by the spread of Generative AI. Through the server virtualization solution "CONTRABASS" and the Cloud-Native operations management platform "VIOLA," attendees can see AI infrastructure optimization technologies on-site, including GPU virtualization (GPUaaS) and integrated node and resource management. The multi and Hybrid Cloud integrated management platform "Okestro CMP," presented alongside, enables unified control of complex infrastructure environments from a single screen, enhancing operational convenience and management efficiency.
Okestro CEO Kim Beom-jae said, "As the transition to Generative AI accelerates, strategy development and infrastructure optimization are becoming central to the competitiveness of corporations," adding, "Okestro will lead technological innovation in the AI transition era based on our full-stack AI and cloud capabilities."
