Kakao said on Dec. 8 that it has integrated and revamped the Kakao Business management channels used by small and midsize merchants, self-employed workers and marketers into Kakao Business Partner Center. The change allows users to manage various Kakao Business services such as KakaoTalk Channel, Kakao Map and ads in one place.
Kakao Business Partner Center is a web and mobile service that integrates Kakao Business Admin Center, KakaoTalk Channel Admin Center and Kakao Map Store Management into one. Within a single center, users can handle everything from operating Talk Channel and managing customers to store management, ad execution and performance analysis. It also offers a customized dashboard so users can check operating status and manage schedules.
To mark the integration, Kakao will give new subscribers who open a business channel 10,000 won in Kakao Shopping points from Jan. 15 to Jan. 31.
As part of a mutual growth program to support small and midsize merchants, Kakao also launched Kakao Biz Membership. The company said the membership combines various benefits needed for business, including advertising and marketing, store operations and food material purchases.
Hwang Jun-yeon, Kakao's Kakao Business Domain leader, said, "We plan to consider and carry out a variety of support measures so that a wide range of business operators can achieve tangible growth through Kakao Business."
