Accelerator products from artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductor corporations DeepX will be supplied to the global market.
DeepX said on the 5th that it has formed a partnership with electronics components distribution and solutions corporations DigiKey to begin global sales of its AI accelerator lineup. DigiKey has a logistics network that delivers products within 24 to 48 hours in more than 180 countries. Its annual revenue is about $8.7 billion (about 12 trillion won).
A DeepX official said, "DigiKey is called the 'holy ground of research and development (R&D),' the first place engineers around the world turn to when developing new products and building prototypes," and noted, "This collaboration is expected to be an opportunity for DeepX's technology to penetrate deeply into the standard development environments of global engineers."
DeepX can now supply its products from startups in Silicon Valley in the United States to university labs in Europe by using DigiKey's "immediate shipment system." DeepX plans to focus on selling Neural Processing Unit (NPU) products and development kits through DigiKey. DeepX has built a distribution network that centers on DigiKey for the global market and partners with major e-commerce channels such as Hancom for the domestic market.
DeepX also revamped its official website and Developer Portal. It improved the software development kit (SDK) distribution method, which previously required a separate process.
A DeepX representative said, "Listing on DigiKey, effectively a search engine for global engineers, is an important bridgehead for DeepX technology to establish itself as the standard on development sites worldwide," and added, "We will create an environment where anyone can easily implement On-device AI."
