IGLOO Corp. on the 4th released the 2026 cyber security threat and technology outlook report analyzing the rise in supply chain attacks targeting the artificial intelligence (AI) and software (SW) ecosystem and the trend of increasingly sophisticated state-linked cyber threats.
According to the report, AI supply chain attacks targeting AI models and training data are increasing, and securing cyber resilience for the AI ecosystem is expected to emerge as a key task. State-led cyberattacks stemming from deepening geopolitical conflicts, evolved ransomware, and the potential for expanding damage from large-scale cyberattacks were also identified as major threats.
IGLOO Corp. said the implementation of an autonomous security operations center (Autonomous SOC) will gain full momentum to respond to these threats. It said a proactive response system that combines AI with threat intelligence and attack surface management (ASM) is needed. It also cited agentic AI in which multiple AI agents collaborate, zero trust based on the National Network Security Framework (N2SF), and stronger convergence security for information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) as key tasks.
Lee Deuk-chun, CEO of IGLOO Corp., said, "To counter AI-based threats and state-based attacks, it is important to shift from defense-centered security to an active security system equipped with predictive and autonomous response capabilities," and added, "We will focus on responding to new types of threats to protect organizations' core asset and infrastructure."
