Global artificial intelligence (AI) data cloud corporations Snowflake is partnering with Anthropic to fully roll out the AI chatbot Claude across its platform.
Snowflake said on the 4th (local time) that it will integrate Claude across its data and AI cloud through a $200 million (about 270 billion won) partnership.
With this collaboration, global corporations using Snowflake on major hyperscaler infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud will be able to leverage Claude directly through the cloud without separate data movement. Snowflake aims to serve as an enterprise Claude hub that applies Generative AI to a range of tasks such as data analysis, workflow automation, and customer service.
Snowflake, in particular, will make Claude the core model of its corporations intelligent agents and pursue an agentic AI strategy that consolidation all data within an organization to a single agent. When users ask questions in natural language, the agent traverses multiple data sources to perform analysis and reasoning and presents step-by-step answers needed for decision-making. The goal is an AI colleague that handles complex, multi-step work beyond a simple chatbot.
The two companies plan to integrate into a single platform the functions needed to implement enterprise AI—based on the core data held by corporations—including natural language analysis, multimodal processing, custom agent creation, and access control and auditing (governance).
