Naver said on the 4th that it will introduce a "real-time reservation" search filter for veterinary clinics registered on Place. Users can now see at a glance which veterinary clinics can see patients at their desired time on Naver and make reservations easily.
When searching Naver with keywords such as "area name+veterinary clinic" or "veterinary clinic Naver Reservation," a real-time reservation filter is provided, and selecting a date and time displays a list of clinics that can see patients and available reservation time slots. Users can also book veterinary clinics by using the real-time reservation filter in the home tab and reservation tab on the Place detail page. The feature is currently applied to restaurants as well.
With the newly applied filter, users can gather and view veterinary clinics that can see patients on their desired date and time. They can also compare available times for each clinic at a glance, reducing the time and steps needed to decide on a visit.
Naver is also introducing a new "consultation hours" search filter for veterinary clinics. After searching "area name+veterinary clinic," users can select conditions in the filter such as 24-hour service, weekend service, and holiday service, or directly search for terms like "24-hour veterinary clinic" to check the corresponding clinic list.
The company said it expects this update to significantly improve the convenience of veterinary clinic use for users who have companion animals. In particular, when users need to rush to a veterinary clinic late at night or on holidays, they previously had to check each clinic's detail page one by one to see if reservations were available. Now, by using the newly applied filter, they can quickly find clinics currently seeing patients and proceed with a reservation, which is expected to greatly shorten the time from searching for a clinic to receiving actual care.
From the perspective of veterinary clinics, Naver said user access via Naver Reservation will become easier, increasing the likelihood of acquiring additional potential customers centered on the clinic's nearby area and alleviating concentration at specific time slots, thereby improving operational efficiency.
The "real-time reservation" filter and the "consultation hours" filter for veterinary clinics will be available on the Naver app and web, and the Naver Map app starting on the 11th.
Naver plans to continue adding various information on Place, including the animals and specialties handled by each clinic, to further enhance user convenience in searching for veterinary clinics.
Lee Se-hun, Naver Place business planning lead, said, "By introducing the real-time reservation filter, we aimed to improve the convenience and efficiency of the process from search to reservation so that users with companion animals can visit a veterinary clinic at their desired time," adding, "We will continue to advance Place features to optimize users' online and offline place experiences."
