Line Plus said on the 4th that it held a hands-on program called "AI Campus Day" to strengthen employees' ability to use artificial intelligence (AI) and began introducing the latest AI tools, including ChatGPT Enterprise.
On the 2nd, AI Campus Day was an in-house program in which all employees focused on boosting productivity using AI. Sessions were organized by each employee's AI proficiency level, from beginner to advanced.
The hands-on sessions were divided into three tracks — common, creative, and engineering — and ran in a way that allowed anyone, regardless of job category, to choose and take the level-appropriate training they wanted. In particular, coworkers who actively use AI served as "AI mentors" and covered a range of topics that can raise practical work efficiency.
Line Plus plans to conduct this program for all job categories at its Korea unit and then consider expanding it to global offices, including Taiwan and Thailand.
Since Aug., Line Plus has provided the latest AI tools such as Gemini, NotebookLM, and Claude Code, in addition to ChatGPT Enterprise, which it introduced companywide. In-house, sessions called "Tech Talk" and "Creative Share" have been run for developers, designers, and other roles to share AI usage experiences and know-how.
It also strengthened mandatory training systems, including security guidelines, so employees can use AI services safely.
Starting in July, Line Plus held Line AI Summer Bootcamp for three months to offer opportunities to use AI tools. Last month, it expanded the support scale and provided a Special Support Fund for Improving AI Literacy to all employees. Since Sept., Line Yahoo Group has been holding a monthly LY AI Agent Creation Contest using custom GPT features.
