Hancom Academy said on the 3rd that it was selected as a participating corporation in the "Seoul AI Talent Alliance" led by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
The Seoul AI Talent Alliance is a public-private partnership formed by corporations, universities, and associations and groups cooperating to build a talent development ecosystem in AI for the Seoul Metropolitan Government. A total of 29 institutions, including domestic and foreign corporations such as Google, Microsoft (MS), KT, and SK, as well as major universities, will participate, including Hancom Academy.
Hancom Academy, together with Upstage, will serve as an AI education specialist corporation in this council. Based on hands-on AI education curricula and job placement experience, it plans to join efforts to cultivate AI talent based on corporate demand and to advance related policy projects such as the Seoul "Youth Job Academy."
At the launch event, the Seoul mayor presented the vision, and participating institutions carried out a performance sharing their commitment to cooperation. Hancom Academy plans to promote activities with the alliance, including developing AI-focused education programs, supporting youth talent-corporation matching, and sharing the latest AI technology trends.
Choi Seong, CEO of Hancom Academy, said, "It is meaningful to participate in nurturing future AI talent together with the Seoul Metropolitan Government and various institutions," adding, "We will strengthen our educational capabilities so that we can cultivate practical artificial intelligence (AI) talent."
