Dassault Systèmes said on the 2nd that it will expand the provision of sovereign artificial intelligence (AI) services targeting Europe's regulated industries and the public institutional sector by strengthening its partnership with Mistral AI.
Under the partnership, Mistral AI's assistant "Le Chat Enterprise" and AI development platform "AI Studio" will be offered on the Dassault Systèmes Outscale sovereign cloud. This will allow the use of high-performance AI models within Europe under stringent confidentiality and security standards.
The two companies will combine software technology and sovereign cloud operating capabilities to meet regulatory requirements such as data privacy and cybersecurity while addressing issues arising in the industrialization of Generative AI. Corporations and institutions for which the protection of sensitive data and intellectual property is critical will be able to use interoperable AI models in a trusted environment.
Le Chat Enterprise offers privacy- and control-centric custom AI features and supports automation of repetitive tasks such as report, marketing content, and code generation. AI Studio allows developers to directly control the AI stack and provides functions such as infrastructure, inference engine, security controls, and automatic deployment. Outscale is a cloud with Europe's highest level of security certifications.
Philippe Martin, Dassault Systèmes Outscale chief executive officer (CEO), said, "This partnership aims to support the changes underway across Europe's industry, government, and society while strengthening sovereign cloud capabilities," adding, "We will continue to meet the security, transparency, and performance demands of regulated industries and the public institutional sector and expand the adoption of sovereign AI in Europe."
The offering of Le Chat Enterprise and AI Studio on the Outscale cloud was announced at the "Adopt AI" event held in Paris, France, and both products are available on the Outscale Marketplace.
