Genians said on the 1st that it was selected as a "2025 Korea work-life balance outstanding corporation" organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL).

The "2025 Korea work-life balance outstanding corporation" program selects corporations that set an example in practicing work-life balance for employees, including flexible work, reduced working hours, encouraging the use of paid leave, and support for balancing work and childcare. This year, a total of 183 corporations were selected, and certified corporations can receive various benefits such as exemptions from regular labor inspections, preferred access to government support programs, financial and interest rate benefits, and support for research personnel.

This evaluation proceeded through a document review and on-site due diligence, and Genians said it received high marks for the stable operation of its flexible work system, high vacation usage rate, and efforts to improve organizational culture based on reflecting employee opinions.

Genians has all employees making 100% use of a flexible work system that includes work-from-home and remote work and a staggered working hours system. The staggered working hours system can be adjusted autonomously to fit each department's characteristics and work situation, and accommodations are made so that employees with children can flexibly coordinate caregiving time for drop-off and pick-up and hospital visits.

Genians has maintained an annual leave consumption rate of 95% or higher in recent years, recording about 98% last year. By registering an event on Google Calendar, employees can take annual leave, creating an environment where they can use vacation freely without having to write a reason or seek approval. Starting in Aug., a half-half day off system was also introduced, allowing more granular vacation use tailored to personal schedules.

To support employees' family life, parental leave is actively encouraged regardless of gender, and on the third Friday of every month the company operates a "Family Day" system with work only in the morning. Every year on Children's Day, the company provides gift certificates to employees with minor children and is continuously expanding customized family-friendly welfare programs.

Chief Executive Lee Dong-beom of Genians said, "With the mindset of growing together with our employees, we have steadily improved the work environment," and added, "We expect this selection will create a positive virtuous cycle not only for employee job satisfaction but also for enhancing the corporation's image and attracting top talent."
