LG Electronics said on the 1st that it was selected as the "Best Brand, TV" at the Euroconsumers Awards 2025, which recently credit entry European local consumers.
Marking its seventh year, the Euroconsumers Awards selected the best brands by detailed category for the first time this year, and LG Electronics became the first winner in the TV institutional sector.
The Euroconsumers Awards is a ceremony co-hosted by consumer media in five countries—Belgium, Portugal, Spain, Italy, and Brazil—that belong to ICRT, an alliance of 37 consumer outlets representing each country, including Consumer Reports in the United States and Which in the United Kingdom.
LG Electronics said, "We were selected as the best TV brand by earning high scores in both the tests conducted directly by experts and in the surveys of product satisfaction and trust responded to by consumers," and added, "To actively reflect the voices of more consumers, satisfaction and trust were surveyed not only in the five member countries but across Europe, including the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Austria, Slovenia, and Hungary."
LG Electronics said it received this assessment by putting forward the LG OLED TV. LG OLED TV surpassed cumulative sales of 10 million units this year in the European market. Launched in 2013, it recorded cumulative sales of about 5 million units in 2021 and then grew steeply at twice the previous pace to top 10 million units in four years.
Lee Cheon-guk, executive vice president and head of Europe at LG Electronics, said, "This is the result of our leadership being recognized in Europe, a representative premium TV market," and added, "With the LG OLED TV, which offers self-emissive high picture quality and a slim, simple design, we will deliver the best viewing experience to customers around the world, including Europe."
