HANCOM said on the 1st that its "Hancom Office AI Package," which integrates the company's core product lines to strengthen its artificial intelligence (AI) business, received Grade 1 in the Good Software (GS) certification from the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA).
The newly certified "Hancom Office AI Package" is a new product line restructured into a single integrated package around the existing installable software "Hancom Office 2024," the AI tool "Hancom Assistant" specialized for document creation, and the cloud-based "Hancom Office Web (Web)." As part of HANCOM's "AI-based work innovation" strategy, it is designed so that public institutions and corporations can immediately adopt and use the latest AI technology while maintaining their existing work environments.
The core of the package, "Hancom Assistant," is an AI agent that automatically performs tasks such as drafting, summarizing, proofreading, and formatting when users issue commands in natural language. With this package configuration, public institutions can significantly boost productivity by using AI within the familiar Hancom Office environment without building separate, complex systems. In addition, with "Hancom Office Web" included, it supports a flexible work environment unconstrained by time and place. Through this, HANCOM plans to accelerate the shift of public administrative work—previously centered on on-premises (installable) systems—to a hybrid environment that combines cloud and AI.
GS certification is a national program that comprehensively evaluates software for functional suitability, reliability, and security based on international standards. Products that receive Grade 1 are designated as technology-developed products subject to priority purchase by public institutions, making adoption by the government and public institutions easier.
