Samsung Electronics Service said on the 27th that it held the "Service Technology Competition and Safety Innovation Conference" at the Samsung Electronics CS Academy in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province.
Since 1986, Samsung Electronics Service has held the "Service Technology Competition" to raise engineers' technical capabilities and provide customers with high-quality service. This year's event runs from the day before to today.
At this year's event, Samsung Electronics Service also held a "Safety Innovation Conference." The company said, "Safety is drawing attention as a core element of service quality, so we aim to raise employees' safety awareness and uncover outstanding cases for creating a safe work environment."
This competition, under the theme "AI service future and safety culture," features a total of 10 events: five repair contests, four service innovation cases, and one safety innovation event. The repair contest is an institutional sector that evaluates the professional competencies of service engineers. The service innovation cases institutional sector identifies outstanding cases that improve work efficiency at actual service sites and can raise customer satisfaction. In the safety innovation case contest institutional sector, outstanding cases are identified that can prevent safety accidents at service sites and improve work stability. The "Service Safety Innovation Conference," held for the first time this year, is conducted as a safety innovation case contest institutional sector and a safety culture dissemination event.
Service engineers who achieve excellent results in the competition receive benefits such as certificates, prize money, and extra points in personnel evaluations. Among the top scorers in each event, employees with outstanding job performance also receive the Minister of Employment and Labor (MOEL) Award (3 people) and the Korea Association President's Award of the International Abilympics (3 people).
