Nota AI, a corporations specializing in AI lightweighting and optimization technologies, said on the 26th that it signed a deal to supply its AI model optimization technology for Samsung Electronics' latest application processor (AP), Exynos 2500.
Through this deal, Nota AI is providing core technology to Samsung Electronics' AI model optimization toolchain "Exynos AI Studio," laying the technical groundwork for advanced Generative AI experiences to run on the Exynos 2500 AP.
Exynos AI Studio is a toolchain (a set of development tools) that helps optimize customer-developed AI models for Exynos processors so they can run efficiently. With Nota AI's technology integrated, model optimization efficiency and performance have improved, and enhanced on-device (embedded) AI experiences on smartphones are now possible without cloud consolidation.
Chae Myeong-su, CEO of Nota AI, said, "Collaboration with Samsung Electronics is a meaningful case in which Nota AI's optimization technology has been applied to and commercialized in global consumer products," and added, "We implemented high-performance Generative AI on-device through the organic combination of AI Semiconductor and software."
